"Nocturnal was started back in June 10, 2000. I opened the shop with my past partner Timothy Quinn who left 3 years ago and then my long time best friend Mark Brandstetter came on board and helped me make nocturnal what it is today. I started nocturnal cause the only skate shop in Philly at the time didn't have that brotherly love feeling. The skate scene in Philly was huge at the time and it needed something epic like Nocturnal. It's been taking care of the skate scene for almost 10 years now and has no plans of stopping." - Kerry Getz
